In this tutorial, I will provide step-by-step instructions on how to personalize the invitations from our destination wedding collection. Specifically, we will be working on a printable passport invitation, but the same steps can also be applied to the boarding pass invitation.

1. How to choose the appropriate size of the template to personalize
The first thing you need to do is select the size of your template. Our printable passport and boarding pass invitation templates are available in 2 different sizes, listed below.
Before editing your invite, please ensure your local printer can print these sizes.
If you are based in the US, we've made it easy for you to print with our partner, Prints of Love. Please choose the US formats (inches) for a seamless printing experience.

2. Design Editor Overview

3. How to replace the map in your design with a different map
- To remove the current map from your design, select the layer and press the delete key on your keyboard.
- Go to the maps template and select the country you want to copy. Right-click your mouse and choose the "Copy" option.
- Go back to your design, right-click your mouse again and choose the "Paste" option.
- In the layers panel, drag the map layer down so that it's below any other text or images that are on top (the map should be just above the background layer).
4. How to change the colour of the map and planes/ stamps/ locator
- Select the map or any clipart in the design
- In the top toolbar, select the "colours icon" to open the colour editing panel
- Click on the colour block and select a new colour
Please Note! If you want to save this new colour for later use, click “Add colour”.
5. How to add stamps or planes to your design
- In the stamps and decorations template, select the element you want to copy. Right-click your mouse and choose the "Copy" option.
- Go back to your design, right-click your mouse again and choose the "Paste" option.
- In the layers panel, drag the layer down so that it's below any other text or images that are on top.
6. How to change the colour of the design background
- Select the design, click the background icon on the left panel, and make sure “Select colour” is enabled.
- Then, select a new colour from the fill block.
7. How to add your photo
- Click on the current photo to select it
- In the top toolbar select the “Replace Image” button
- Drag and drop your photo inside the "upload a custom image window”
- Click on Replace image to insert your photo.
If you wish to add a different photo, select the current one and repeat the steps mentioned above.
Please Note! If you accidentally delete the photo click on the undo button to restore the photo.
8. How to edit the order of the events timeline
- To delete any existing icons from your design, select them and press the "Delete" key on your keyboard.
- If you want to copy an element from the template with the wedding icons, select it, then right-click your mouse and choose the "Copy" option.
- Next, return to your design, right-click your mouse again, and choose the "Paste" option.
- You can then adjust the size of the icon and change its color to match the colors used in your design
9. How to Download your Design
9.1 How to Download Your Design for Prints of Love
This option allows you to order affordable quality prints from our partner Prints of Love (they are based in US). Once selected, a pop-up window will open and allow you to download your files and then go to the Prints of Love website where you can place your print order.
In section 11, at the end of this page, you will find instructions for choosing the correct size and format for printing your invitation with Prints of Love.
